ADDIS Foundation for Community Health believes healthcare professionals workforce capacity building brings a sustainable solution to end blindness in Ethiopia.
ADDIS Foundation for Community Health supports colleges and universities in Ethiopia through distribution of most current evidence based nursing and public health instructional materials at no cost to the schools.
Key content donor organizations: Nurse International (NI) in which we take pride in establishing connections with.
Because of the generosity of these international organizations, we were able to bring evidence based nursing and public health science curriculum to programs in Ethiopia at no cost to the schools.
ADDIS Foundation for Community Health also prides itself to be the first in getting these valuable resources to Ethiopia.
Our team maintains its working relationship with NI to continue support to existing health professional training institutes in Ethiopia and to achieve our missions: ensuring education for blind children and adults and preventing preventable blindness in Ethiopia.

The ADDIS Foundation for Community Health believes that building the capacity of healthcare professionals is key to creating a sustainable solution to end blindness in Ethiopia. We proudly support colleges and universities by providing the latest evidence-based nursing and public health instructional materials at no cost. Thanks to the generosity of organizations like Nurse International (NI), we’ve been able to establish strong connections and deliver these essential resources to programs in Ethiopia. As the first organization to bring such valuable curriculum to the country, we take pride in our ongoing collaboration with NI to continue supporting health professional training institutes. Together, we are working toward our mission: ensuring education for blind children and adults while preventing avoidable blindness in Ethiopia.

Thanks to Nurse International's curriculum donation, nursing students at the college received evidence-based nursing and public health science curricula. Additionally, students and community members from the surrounding region benefited from an eyeglass distribution event organized by ADDIS Foundation.
